DESCRIPTION:Jujutsu (jj) is a new version control system that uses Git as 
 its backend. Since trying it last year\, it has completely replaced Git fo
 r me. It manages to be less complex than Git\, while giving you more contr
 ol. I think you'll like it too!\n\nLately\, when people ask me complex Git
  questions\, my answer is often: "First\, install jj…" And that's only h
 alf a joke. :P\n\n---\n\nA few things I like about Jujutsu: There's no ind
 ex\, but instead you get a subcommand for splitting changes. Commits have 
 stable IDs that stay the same even after rewriting. Anonymous branches! Co
 nflicts are first-class objects and don’t have to be resolved immediatel
 y during a rebase. Rewriting history is very easy.\n\nAnd because it's Git
 -compatible\, you can use Jujutsu right away in existing projects without 
 anyone else noticing. :3\n\nI'm planning to do this session in two parts: 
 First\, an introductory talk about jj. After that\, a "workshop" part wher
 e you can install Jujutsu and try it for yourself!

 trument from your laptop with a midi-controller\, your E-Guitar\, a Microp
 hone to your modular synthesizer. If you want to participate please read t
 he following carefully.\n\nPlease bring the following with you if you plan
  to participate: (if you don't bring the stuff you may be able to borrow i
 t)\n- Headphones\n- Extension Chord/Power Strip if your stuff needs power\
 n- Cable to send your tones to the other people. Small audio jack is the p
 refered method. Adapters are nice.\n\nIf you can\, it is nice to bring Ins
 truments for other people so people can participate without knowing about 
 the jam before congress. It is probably a good Idea to write your name/a u
 nique identifier on your stuff to avoid confusion.\n\nI have designed a PC
 B that lets 5 People plug in their instruments and headphones via small au
 dio jack. Only the Headphone volume can be adjusted on the board. Unfortun
 ately the board is still in the mail and I don't know if it works at all.

 y need better structures for mental health and crisis intervention\, as we
 ll as practical advice for the community on how to support one another. In
  this session\, we want to take action. We will gather initial ideas and a
 pproaches: How can we effectively support beings with suicidal thoughts? H
 ow do we protect ourselves from burnout? What good resources do we already
  know and can share with each other? Which ressources are still missing? T

DESCRIPTION:Since a couple of years\, I've been using a custom mouse curso
 r theme – the cursor is a turtle emoji! Sometimes I forget that it exist
 s\, and people are amused that there's a turtle on my screen! :D\n\nIn thi
 s workshop\, I'll explain how cursor themes work on Linux\, and teach you 
 how to generate your own one! It could be anything you want – some ideas
 :\n\n- Draw your own arrows (cool-looking? Weird ones?)\n- Repurpose your 
 favorite icons/logos (so that everyone immediately knows that you're using
  Arch btw)\n- Blåhajs?!\n- High-contrast cursors that are actually more a
 ccessible to you\n\nBring a Linux laptop! And it'd be ideal if you could a
 lready install the vector graphics program Inkscape and the command line t
 ool `xcursorgen`! I'll show you a little script that will help you generat
 e the theme. If you feel comfortable with another graphics program\, you c
 an also use that instead of Inkscape.\n\nThe resulting themes work both on
  X.Org as well as Wayland.
